Reporting to the Sports and Recreation Supervisor, this position will see you based at HMAS Cerberus, Crib Point, Mornington Peninsula and are responsible for maintaining supervision and safety of the Pool area. You will also be stationed within the on-base Gym to ensure it is maintained clean and tidy for each day.This position is a casual role, working hours are across a roster from Monday to Sunday and could vary from 6 – 24 hours per week. The shifts you will be working will consist of the below.Monday – ThursdayMorning shifts: 6.00am – 2.30pmAfternoon / Evening shifts: 2.30pm - 9.00pmFriday – SundayWeekends/ Public holidays: Anytime time from 8:00am – 1:30pm or 1.00pm – 7.00pmThe payrate for this position is $28.28 per hour + 25% casual loading.To be considered for this position, you must be an Australian Citizen and willing to undergo a police check.Key Duties, But Not Limited ToProviding safety advice, performing rescues, first aid and resuscitation as requiredInstall or remove lane ropes during shifts for bookingsChecklist is run through daily, removing leaves / debrisMaintain a tidy Gym with a high level of cleanliness and putting used equipment awayPerform day one inductions for new attendees, manage sign-ins and equipment checks throughout your shiftAnswer any general enquires or questions as neededRequirementsLifeguard CertificationFirst Aid QualificationWorking with Children CheckThe CompanyVentia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
