An exciting opportunity is available for a Consultant Geriatrician to join a leading tertiary teaching hospital in Tasmania's capital city. This role offers the chance to deliver high-quality, multidisciplinary care to older adults across acute, subacute and outpatient settings within a well-established Geriatric Medicine service.
The Role
* Provide comprehensive geriatric assessment and management
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Contribute to orthogeriatrics, frailty and rehabilitation services
* Participate in teaching, supervision and quality improvement
* Share in an on-call roster as required
Requirements
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Geriatric Medicine (or equivalent)
* Specialist registration (or eligibility) with AHPRA
* Demonstrated experience in acute geriatric care
* Strong leadership and communication skills
