Environmental Industries is seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Gardener to work within our maintenance division out at our Port Hedland depot. The successful candidate will have the option of either working a 2/1 FIFO roster (ex-Perth) or be based permanently in Port Hedland. Shared accommodation is provided in Port Hedland free of charge. To be successful, you will need to be self-motivated to get the job done and achieve a high standard of quality workmanship. You will be fully supported through contact with the Area Manager.
The Position
Key Duties will include:
* Gardening and general grounds keeping
* Mowing and edging
* Weeding, raking and pruning
* Litter collection
* Applying pesticides and fertilizer - if licensed
* Other duties as required
Skills and Experience
* Several years' experience in a similar role
* Ability to work autonomously
* Excellent communication skills
Tickets, Licenses and Qualifications
* Cert III Horticulture - highly regarded but not essential
* Driver's License - current, essential
* Pest Management (Spray) Ticket – preferred but not essential
* National Police Clearance - essential
* White/Blue Card - essential
