Role Summary
As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you'll be responsible for guiding and leading the architecture, delivery, and development of the software systems that power our business unit. A hands‐on, highly skilled software developer with the experience to dive into code to deliver high quality, well‐designed software. You will share responsibility for the quality of the software being built, including but not limited to achieving desired business outcomes, meeting reliability and performance expectations, and safely managing security and data privacy concerns.
Qualifications
* 6+ years in a hands‐on Software Engineering role
* Strong experience building high‐traffic web applications across frontend and backend
* Proven backend experience using Java or Kotlin with modern frameworks (e.g. Spring / Spring Boot) to build scalable APIs and services
* Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript, with experience applying these skills across both UI representation and platform‐driven, rule‐based implementations
* Working knowledge of React.js and modern frontend patterns to support and evolve user experiences
* Solid understanding of cloud‐native development on platforms such as AWS, including deployment, scaling, and operational considerations
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions), version control (Git), and automated testing practices
* Experience using observability and monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk, Datadog, or similar) to support production systems
* A real passion for quality, clean code and continuous improvement
* A strong understanding of architectural concepts and cloud‐based solution design
* Highly dedicated ethos - expected to take very real accountability for the work you're doing
* Demonstrable ability to motivate self and others, and a passion to mentor junior developers
* Experience working with technical and non‐technical partners, with the capability to influence
* A test and learn mindset with curiosity, collaboration and care
* Confidence with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions
* Experience writing multi‐threaded, asynchronous code
* Proven experience with delivering customer facing conversational AI or chatbots will be highly regarded
