About the Role:
Your primary responsibility will be to manage the Bell Desk department efficiently. This will involve ensuring that all guests arriving and departing the hotel receive a warm welcome and efficient assistance.
You will work as part of a team of 12, supporting the Bell Desk Assistant Manager in the day-to-day operations. Your goal will be to achieve our purpose by providing exceptional service to our guests.
Responsibilities:
* Meet and greet all guests arriving and departing the hotel in a friendly and helpful manner
* Verify arrival and departure details and arrange luggage handling, storage, security and transportation and other services requested by guests
* Safely valet park vehicles into the car park
* Handling guest enquiries and requests and being familiar with Melbourne and its surroundings
* Promptly taking guest luggage efficiently to and from the guestrooms
* Assist Concierge with basic functions
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work effectively in a team environment and have a strong attention to detail.
Previous work experience in a similar fast-paced hotel operations environment is essential. A full Australian driver's license with the ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles is also required.
