The Group provides a range of support, advice and analysis services across ASIC. The roles: EL1- Manager, Regulatory Debt Management At ASIC, you will manage a team overseeing debt management of regulatory revenue, ensuring compliance with ASIC's policies and Department of Finance guidance. You'll provide expertise on debt management under the relevant legislation, including the Fees for Services under Corporations (Fees) Act 2001 and Corporations (Review Fees) Act 2003, Public Governance, PGPA Act, ASIC Supervisory Cost Recovery Levy (Collection Act) and Financial Services Compensation Scheme of Last Resort Levy (Collection) Act 2023 You will also oversee Administered Debt Management processes and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. In these roles, you'll develop team capabilities through mentoring and coaching, manage productivity, and make decisions on complex fee reviews and complaints. You'll coordinate investigations and respond to complaints related to ASIC Administered revenue functions, engaging with stakeholders and applying sound judgment. The key duties of the position include About you: We are looking for dynamic professionals with a relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, a membership in a professional accounting body (e.g., CPA, CA, CIMA) will be highly beneficial. A proven track record in presenting complex information effectively, resolving intricate client and stakeholder queries, and providing specialist advice. Your strong business writing skills and verbal communication will be key in delivering solutions and outcomes. In this role, you will support, guide, and coach team members to enhance staff development and team performance. You will analyse complex issues, provide recommendations, and interpret legislation and industry knowledge to deliver impactful results. EL1- Manager Financial Operations, Treasury and Taxation Join ASIC and lead a team responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury, and taxation functions. Provide strategic advice and financial support to Senior Management while managing ASIC's tax obligations, court cost recoveries, and relationships with the Reserve Bank of Australia. Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and effective governance to identify, mitigate, and monitor financial risks. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including the Australian Taxation Office and the Australian National Audit Office, to align ASIC's financial operations with strategic objectives. Contribute to financial governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks, and provide ad hoc support for other administrative functions. Think strategically, solve problems, and make impactful decisions to support ASIC's mission.
