**About the role**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Operational Services Officer** to support laboratory operations and ensure the efficient processing of specimens. In this role, you will be responsible for sorting and accessioning specimens according to established protocols, performing accurate data entry, assisting with preparatory duties, and managing the storage and transport of specimens. Additionally, you will handle internal and external customer enquiries with professionalism and efficiency, contributing to the seamless functioning of laboratory services.

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented **Operational Services Officer** who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality service. You will be a strong team player with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

- **Teamwork & Communication**: Strong ability to collaborate effectively, provide excellent customer service, and communicate clearly with a diverse range of clients.
- **Problem-Solving & Initiative**: Ability to work independently under limited supervision, identify and escalate issues when necessary, and adapt to changing priorities.
- **Technical & Industry Knowledge**: Experience in pathology laboratory operations, information systems, databases, and confidence in using computers and related software.
