About the opportunity:
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking for suitably qualified and experienced professional to fill a vacancy within our Electrical Team.
About the role:
Reporting to the Electrical Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining electrical safety standards across the site.
- Performing maintenance tasks to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability of electrical and instrumentation related equipment.
- Fault finding issues and repairing within a reasonable timeframe using best practice safety standards.
- Assisting in implementing and verifying appropriate modifications to equipment, maintenance, or operation techniques.
- Liaising with all relevant stakeholders, including production personnel, on relevant matters.
- Installation of new equipment as well as working on special projects as required.
About you:
To be our new Electrician, you will need:
- A safety first attitude
- An Electrical Trade Qualification and Electrical Licence (Class A)
- Current NSW drivers’ licence
- Demonstrated experience with electrical installation, maintenance and fault finding in an industrial environment
- An ability to work autonomously with limited supervision
- Capable of planning and following a work schedule
- Proficient computer skills
Applicants who can demonstrate the following will be highly regarded:
- High voltage training
- Hazardous Area experience
- Knowledge of a processing plant and high-speed packaging equipment
- Experience in a continuous 24/7 operating plant
- HRW licence
