Training & Safety Compliance Administrator


Biloela, QLD | Full-time | Mining Services & Maintenance

FGCM is a growing mining services company based in Biloela, delivering high-quality mechanical maintenance and fabrication services across mine sites and industrial projects. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Training & Safety Compliance Administrator to support our operations by ensuring our people remain compliant, trained, and site-ready.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys administration, compliance systems, and working closely with operations and safety teams.

About the Role


The Training & Safety Compliance Administrator will be responsible for coordinating training requirements, maintaining competency records, managing compliance documentation, and supporting our Safety Health Management System.

You will play a key role in ensuring our employees and contractors meet all training and compliance requirements before attending site.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain and update training records, competencies and compliance documentation
* Manage training matrixes and track licence/certificate expiries
* Coordinate inductions (company and site-specific) for employees and contractors
* Book training courses with external providers and follow up completions
* Maintain registers including training, competency, licences and certifications
* Support internal and client audits by preparing required compliance evidence
* Assist with safety documentation such as SWMS ,risk assessments and procedures
* Support incident reporting administration, action tracking and document filing
* Liaise with supervisors and management to ensure workforce compliance
* Maintain accurate filing systems (digital and hard copy where required)

About You


To be successful in this role you will have:

* Previous experience in an administration role (training / safety / compliance highly regarded)
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Confidence working with multiple stakeholders (operations, supervisors, trainers, clients)
* Ability to manage deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Professional communication skills and a proactive attitude
* Ability to handle confidential information appropriately

Qualifications (Preferred)

* Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (WHS) highly regarded
* TAE / training coordination experience (advantage)
* Mining / construction / industrial experience (advantage)
* Current QLD Driver Licence
