About the role
We are seeking an experienced Centre Manager to join our team at Aussie Early Learning in Bibra Lake, WA. This is a permanent part‐time position that offers the opportunity to lead and manage our early learning centre, ensuring the delivery of exceptional childcare and educational services. As Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation, management and success of the centre, working closely with educators, support staff, families and our wider organisation. This role is pivotal in creating a positive, safe and nurturing environment where children can flourish and families feel supported.
Key responsibilities
* Leading and managing the daily operations of the centre, including staff scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation
* Recruiting, training, supervising and supporting educators and support staff to ensure high‐quality service delivery
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant childcare legislation, regulations and Aussie Early Learning policies and procedures
* Maintaining and improving educational standards and quality of care provided to all children
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with families, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
* Overseeing health, safety and wellbeing practices across the centre, including risk management and incident reporting
* Managing centre finances, including fee collection, invoicing and expense management
* Implementing and monitoring quality improvement initiatives to enhance centre performance
* Liaising with regulatory bodies and maintaining all necessary documentation and records
* Contributing to the development of centre policies and supporting the implementation of organisational initiatives
What we're looking for
* Relevant qualifications in early childhood education, childcare management or related field
* Minimum 3‐5 years' experience working in childcare or early learning environments, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
* Strong knowledge of childcare legislation, regulations and best practice standards, including the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standard
* Demonstrated experience in staff management, performance development and creating a positive workplace culture
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families, staff and external stakeholders
* Sound financial management and budgeting experience
* Strong organisational and problem‐solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
* Commitment to child safety, wellbeing and inclusion
* Current Working with Children Check and appropriate First Aid certification
