Job Opportunity: Senior Sales Executive
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Senior Sales Executive. This role will involve leading national retail accounts in the FMCG sector, developing and executing strategic business plans, and driving sales growth through effective trade investment optimization.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual with a strong commercial acumen to lead one of our most strategically important retail accounts. You will be responsible for delivering sales, profit, and share targets through robust planning and execution, as well as building and implementing customer business plans aligned with internal strategic goals and external market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Full P&L ownership for a major grocery retail account, delivering sales, profit, and share targets through robust planning and execution.
* Build and implement customer business plans aligned with internal strategic goals and external market dynamics.
* Drive in-store execution and deliver compelling sales & marketing programs to increase brand presence and visibility.
* Optimize trade investment by balancing effectiveness and efficiency—ensuring spend drives return.
* Deliver data-driven insights to support category growth, using tools like Nielsen, CAS forecasting, and trade management systems.
* Collaborate cross-functionally and influence key stakeholders, navigating ambiguity and competing priorities with confidence.
Requirements:
* Degree in Business Administration or related field with 4+ years' experience in Sales, Account Management, Category Management or Trade Marketing within the FMCG sector.
* Strong commercial acumen and a proven track record managing complex national retail accounts.
* Fluent in Nielsen, CAS, and trade management systems.
* A resilient self-starter who thrives under pressure and can adapt quickly to shifting market conditions.
* Strong interpersonal and presentation skills – able to influence at all levels.
