Job Description
We are seeking a Support Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support services to individuals with disabilities.
* This role involves conducting assessments and developing person-centred plans to identify individual needs and goals.
The ideal candidate will possess considerable experience in the disability sector, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals.
* Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting assessments and developing person-centred plans to identify individual needs and goals.
* Evaluating and implementing evidence-based support strategies within complex support environments.
* Mentoring less experienced practitioners to build their knowledge and skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Considerable experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner or equivalent level of suitability from the NDIS Commission.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
