Aged Care Volunteer Visitor - Spanish Speaking
Our program aims to reduce loneliness and isolation experienced by older Australians. We are looking for Spanish speaking visitors to visit an elderly woman and man in the Burleigh and Labrador areas.
Role
Volunteer for approximately 2 hours on a Monday, Thursday or Friday morning to visit with an older lady in her own home or an elderly gentleman in Aged Care. Visits are relaxed and involve conversations in Spanish about general topics such as food, travel, films, and music.
Requirements
* Fluent in Spanish (spoken).
* Must be willing to commit 2 hours on Monday, Thursday, or Friday morning.
* National Police Check.
* COVID‐19 vaccination (3 doses) and flu vaccination.
