Enterprise Risk Management Specialist
The successful candidate will be responsible for embedding a robust enterprise risk management framework and promoting a positive risk culture within the organization. Key responsibilities include:
* Developing an integrated, comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management framework aligned with organizational strategy to eliminate or mitigate risk.
* Promoting appropriate risk-taking and fostering a strong, effective, and enduring positive risk culture.
* Supporting the Board and Executive team to develop and monitor the organization's risk management strategy, risk appetite statements, internal controls, and risk register.
* Developing risk management controls and contingency plans to mitigate risks in their areas of responsibility.
This is a part-time 0.6 FTE, permanent role with opportunities for career advancement. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a risk role, financial services, or related field, preferably within the Human Services or Education sector. A tertiary qualification in business, accounting, finance, or similar is required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Embedding a robust enterprise risk management framework and promoting a positive risk culture.
* Developing risk management controls and contingency plans to mitigate risks.
* Providing high-quality reports and aggregated, enterprise-level risk trend analysis to senior stakeholders.
* Escalating critical issues related to non-compliance and breaches as required.
Requirements:
* Minimum 10 years' experience in a risk role, financial services, or related field.
* Tertiary qualification in business, accounting, finance, or similar.
* Critical thinking with an analytical approach.
* Experience analyzing information/data and providing recommendations to leaders.
* Working with Children Check clearance (NSW) and National Police Clearance.
