About the Role:
Curtin University is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our flagship initiative, Respect at Curtin. This strategic program underpins our commitment to cultivating a culture of respect, equality, safety, and inclusion across campuses, online environments, and the broader university community.
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead the implementation, review, and ongoing evaluation of the Respect at Curtin framework and initiatives.
Conceptualise and develop program strategies aligned with Curtin’s strategic goals.
Engage with stakeholders to support, coach, and advise on responsibilities within the framework.
Develop communication materials for diverse audiences, including reports and data insights for senior leaders and the university community.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards.
Stay informed on emerging trends in higher education and inclusion.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance initiatives.
Who we are looking for:
High-level planning, management, and leadership skills.
Project management experience with strategic development skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills to engage and influence diverse groups.
Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills.
Proven written communication skills for reports and proposals.
Graduate qualifications or extensive relevant experience in project/program management.
Experience in Health and Safety and/or Human Resources, especially psychosocial health and wellbeing.
Knowledge or experience with Human Rights, Gender Equity, and Anti-Discrimination.
Role Requirements:
Current work rights in Australia for the role's duration.
Successful background checks, including Police Clearance and reference checks.
Full-time position, with possible 0.8 FTE consideration.
