About Civil Engineer Role
Civil Engineers play a vital role in designing, building and maintaining our physical environment. They oversee the planning, construction and operation of infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, tunnels, airports, canals, dams, ports, water treatment systems and waste management facilities.
* Design and develop infrastructure projects to meet client requirements
* Oversee the construction process from site preparation to completion
* Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget
* Maintain accurate records and reports throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
To succeed as a Project Manager/Civil Engineer at Stantec, you will need:
* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field
* Minimum 3 years' experience in project management, civil engineering and/or site supervision of land development and civil infrastructure projects
* Engineers Australia Membership or eligibility
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in interpreting civil drawings, specifications and applying relevant legislation, standards and guidelines
* Strong technical expertise and ability to produce accurate design documentation
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Self-driven with proven experience in time management and organizational skills
* Ongoing commitment to professional development through self-study, training and seminars
