OCS Building Maintenance t/as Midcity Group has provided expert building repairs on residential and commercial properties to the insurance industry for over 35 years in Western Australia. We expanded into NSW in 2019, and with ongoing growth into Victoria and Queensland.

Midcity Group specialises in helping Customers with their home insurance claims. Our business operates within strict KPI measurements to meet Client expectations and is supported by a sophisticated job management system.

The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in our Bunbury office as a Customer Service Officer.

This crucial role provides support to our Bunbury and extended team.

You will be joining an engaged, collaborative & dedicated team within an open team office environment. This role is Full-Time, Monday – Friday 8am - 5pm in our Bunbury office and comes with free parking.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

* Inbound/outbound calls to maintain proactive communication with the customer, client, and colleagues about the progress of repairs and the claim process.
* Managing incoming communications
* Support & action administrative tasks across multiple functions of our business.
* Data entry across internal and external SharePoint and Client portals
* Intermediate MS Office skills are required for data entry and portal management tasks
* Collaboration and commitment to team outcomes

Our successful candidate is

* Passionate about customer service
* Has a minimum of 6-12 months customer service experience
* Highly organised with outstanding attention to detail
* Clear and concise with their written and verbal communication skills
* Eager and willing to build rapport with customers, Clients and stakeholders
* A Multitasker that prioritises tasks and works as part of a team
* Committed to gaining the relevant knowledge and skills for the professional and technical requirements of the role and industry.

The following skills/experience would be an advantage, but are not essential

* Experience using job management software
* Previous experience in the building industry and/or insurance industry
