Join a supportive facilities team working collaboratively to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students and staff. You will work alongside the Business Manager, Admin Officer (Facilities), Schools Officers, and cleaning staff to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the school.
Position details
This is a progressive position as per the Role Description. The successful applicant will be appointed to the lower classification with eligibility for progression to the next, once specific criteria have been met or demonstrated. Please note salary rate shown is reflective of both classification ranges.
Responsibilities
* Support students to achieve their potential using evidence-based contemporary occupational therapy knowledge and frameworks to assist schools to identify and make reasonable adjustments and use inclusive teaching strategies.
* Collaborate and liaise with school leaders, teachers, other service providers, and the supervising occupational therapist to assess barriers to student learning and develop and implement occupational therapy services across schools.
* Participate as an active member in education teams within schools to ensure the delivery of high quality, evidence-based contemporary occupational therapy services to enhance learning outcomes for students with disability.
* Use professional knowledge and skills to deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, professional standards and guidelines.
