About the role
Nexus Pools Gladstone is a local, family owned and run business that is looking to grow the team. We are seeking someone who is outgoing and friendly, who takes pride in their work and who wants to be a part of a local business that brings people's pool dreams to life. Our team is based in and works in the Central Queensland area.
On offer is a casual position, working weekdays and offering flexible work arrangements to accommodate your schedule. As a Labourer, you will play a supporting role in the installation and surrounds of residential fibreglass swimming pools in the local area.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting with the installation of new fibreglass swimming pools, including excavation, pipe work, concreting and paving
* Performing initial maintenance on installed pools, such as cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment set-up/operation
* Providing exceptional customer service to our clients throughout the installation process
* Collaborating with the wider team to ensure efficient and timely delivery of projects
* Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment in compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a similar labouring or pool installation role - not essential but welcomed.
* Excellent physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
* Effective communication and customer service skills.
* A positive, friendly, team-oriented attitude and the willingness to learn and adapt.
* A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
