Gunn Agri Partners manages $1.05B in agricultural and natural assets across Australia, North America and Europe. Sustainability underpins everything we do — from how we operate our farms to how we deliver outcomes for investors.
Following the establishment of a new platform and operating company investing in high-value horticultural production, land redevelopment and an actively managed water portfolio, we are seeking an Aggregation Manager to lead the operational performance of two farming properties as a combined business unit.
Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, this role is accountable for safe, compliant and profitable operations while contributing operational insight to support strategic planning, asset development and continuous improvement.
The Opportunity
This role combines hands-on operational leadership with strategic contribution, offering real influence across planning, budgeting, asset management and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will work closely with internal teams, trusted advisors and external stakeholders to ensure the aggregation performs strongly against production, financial and sustainability objectives.
This role will suit an experienced horticultural aggregation manager who brings strong leadership capability, commercial discipline and a hands-on approach — and who is comfortable operating within an institutional, performance-driven environment.
Opportunity to be based at either farm or potentially off-site near Griffith.
Key Focus Areas
* Lead profitable, sustainable production across the aggregation
* Deliver approved operational, development and annual business plans
* Manage key farming activities including irrigation, spraying, harvesting and seasonal programs
* Provide operational insight to support short- and long-term planning
* Responsible for crop performance, asset utilisation and cost control
* Build a strong safety culture and ensure WHS compliance
* Manage fixed and mobile assets, CAPEX and asset optimisation
* Maintain accurate reporting, compliance and financial discipline
* Represent the aggregation professionally with stakeholders, communities and investors
* Drive innovation, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
About You
You are an experienced agricultural leader with:
* Extensive farm management experience on a medium to large horticultural property
* Strong understanding of permanent cropping systems
* Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex operations
* Sound commercial judgement and data-driven decision-making capability
* Experience operating within a corporate or institutional environment (desirable)
* A hands-on, proactive leadership style with strong communication skills
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Business Management or Horticulture is preferred.
