The APS4 Administration Officer role provides operational and administrative support for the Internal Review Branch (IRB) and may undertake research and analysis activities. The position involves supporting participants and applicants through the internal review process, providing feedback to enhance NDIS processes and policies, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Triaging incoming requests for internal review, escalations, and other work types as required.
* Contacting participants and applicants to support with the lodgement and understanding of Internal Reviews.
* Researching and responding to general enquiries, analysing documents and data.
* Organising email inboxes, calendars, and appointments, responding to team priorities and timeframes.
* Coordinating and preparing meeting minutes and papers.
* Supporting the drafting of written communications, managing documents and databases.
* Organising travel and finance reconciliation.
* Participating in project management work as directed, supporting the delivery of work priorities.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Understanding of NDIS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
* Knowledge of various disabilities and associated challenges.
* Ability to analyse information, assess evidence, and make sound decisions.
* Proven strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant tools.
This role is ideal for individuals with:
* Professional certifications in disability services, case management, or administration.
* Relevant work experience in disability, social services, or related fields, including administrative roles.
* First Nations Cultural Awareness – Understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples and sensitive communication skills.
