You’ll help them build independence, work towards their goals, and enjoy a better quality of life. The role runs on a rotating roster, so you’ll need to be comfortable with day, afternoon, and overnight shifts to keep support consistent. We are looking for a proactive and positive Disability Support Worker with experience supporting participants on the autism spectrum. Diverse Duties: Assist with grooming, toileting, meal preparation, medication administration, and household tasks. Person-Centred Support: Provide companionship and emotional support, respecting client preferences and privacy. Adherence & Reporting: Accurately follow individual support and health plans, and promptly report any concerns or changes in participant condition. About You The ideal candidate will be energetic, motivated, and adaptable, with a warm, engaging approach to person-centred care. Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to supporting meaningful, active daily routines are essential. Ability to cook Vietnamese meals and communicate using basic Vietnamese to support the client’s is very much preferred Minimum 3-6 months experience OR Cert III/IV in Disability, Aged Care, or other related fields is highly desirable Experience working in in-home or community care settings or family member Strong communication skills and ability to set professional boundaries NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid Certificate, Driver’s Licence, and access to an insured vehicle If you’re ready to make a genuine difference and build a rewarding career in home and community care, apply now and help empower people to live with freedom and choice.
