Job Overview
The Mechanical Supervisor role involves overseeing the mechanical maintenance functions to guarantee safety and meet maintenance targets. This is a permanent full-time position with an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth or DIO from Port Hedland.
* Promote a continuous improvement culture in all aspects of the operation, focusing on preventative maintenance;
* Manage daily resource allocation to tasks to execute maintenance plans;
* Identify faults in plant equipment and resolve problems, assessing potential impact on production, plant, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of Mechanical Technicians to deliver effective maintenance services;
* Implement preventative maintenance strategies to minimize downtime;
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure smooth operations;
* Monitor and control maintenance budgets to optimize resource allocation;
* Collaborate with other departments to integrate maintenance activities into overall business objectives.
Requirements:
* Degree in a relevant field such as mechanical engineering or a related discipline;
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the mechanical maintenance industry;
* Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate teams and engage with stakeholders;
* Ability to analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions;
* Proven track record of delivering results-oriented outcomes in previous roles.
