Driller's Offsiders SA - Entry Level Traineeships!
Work Locations: Projects across South Australia and across the country – FIFO from Adelaide (We pay for your flights)
Roster Options: 2:1 or 4:2 (site & client dependent)
Work Types: A mix of client site and exploration projects (must be flexible, with both caravan & camp site accommodation).

Through our Driller's Offsider Traineeship, you get paid while gaining valuable industry experience and your Certificate II in Drilling Operations.
DDH1 covers the cost of your certificate and future certifications in drilling, giving you qualifications for life and a stable long-term career path.
While you don't need industry experience, the role of an Offsider is physically demanding and will see you working in all weather conditions. You need to be fit, enjoy working in the outdoors and have manual labour experience.
What we're looking for:
* Must hold a valid HR- B drivers' licence - Unrestricted (required) – or willing to obtain prior to starting
* National Police Clearance (within 12 months) (required)
* Able to pass a pre-employment medical + drug & alcohol screen (required)
* Current First Aid & CPR certificate (HLTAID009 & HLTAID011) (required)
* FIFO from any capital city in Australia (Induction based in Perth, WA)
* Physically fit with manual labour experience for 12-hour shifts in remote, harsh conditions
* Safety-focused, reliable, and a strong team player
* Must be an Australian / New Zealand resident to apply due to government traineeship
Duties of an Offsider:
* Mobilising the rig from one set-up to another
* Handling core – removing from tube, placing in core boxes and labelling box
* Handling drilling rods and core tubes
* Mixing drill fluid additives
* Cleaning equipment and keeping work area clean
* Assisting with equipment maintenance and repairs
