Scheduler - Execution| FIFO or Residential | Iron Ore | Dampier-Based
Join a high-performing team supporting a major iron ore operation as a Track Maintenance Scheduler. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role where you'll play a key part in planning and scheduling critical rail maintenance activities. With a strong focus on collaboration, problem-solving, and execution readiness, this role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and skilled team setting.

What’s on Offer:
- FIFO 5:2, 4:3 roster or residential option (Dampier-based)
- 12-hour days for FIFO, 9–10 hour days for residential
- Ongoing contract with a leading mining client
- Work with a team of 15 schedulers, each managing their own portfolio
- Occasional travel to Tom Price may be required
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain 12-week rolling schedules for track maintenance execution
- Coordinate parts, materials, and resources to ensure readiness
- Handover schedules every Friday to the execution team
- Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues
- Host and facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders (5–50 attendees)
- Work closely with 3 Track Specialists and report to the Superintendent
- Maintain strong working relationships across departments
- Operate autonomously in a high-pressure environment
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in planning and scheduling, ideally in rail and track
- Strong understanding of rail maintenance, access, and obstruction management
- High level of computer literacy; SAP experience is required
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Resilient, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset
- Must have full Australian working rights
