Urgent Care Enrolled Nurse Opportunities
We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our team in Urgent Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Create a welcoming and organized clinical environment, ensuring smooth daily operations.
* Balance administrative responsibilities with hands-on clinical work, impacting patient care directly.
* Work alongside Registered Nurses to deliver exceptional care for injuries and illnesses, gaining valuable experience in a collaborative healthcare setting.
* Maintain professional standards and safety, ensuring all care is delivered within your scope of practice and aligns with our policies.
* Support patient guidance, making sound assessments of inclusion and exclusion criteria.
* Document with precision and care, ensuring a comprehensive, clear and accurate record that supports ongoing patient treatment and quality care.
* Champion workplace health and safety by actively participating in safety initiatives and promptly reporting any incidents/hazards.
Requirements
* AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
* Flexibility and availability to work evenings and weekends.
* Minimum experience level in one of the following:
o 3 years of experience as a Primary Care/General practice nurse OR
o 2 Years of experience in an Emergency Department/similar setting OR
o 3 years of experience in Medical/Surgical, Orthopaedics or similar acute care areas.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle escalations, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
