Description
We are seeking a Logistics Analyst to join our team based in Pinkenba, Brisbane. Working within a small and dedicated logistics team, this role focuses on freight rate modelling, transport cost analysis, fleet performance reporting, and operational data insights to support efficient fuel distribution across our network. This role would suit someone currently working in transport operations, fleet analysis, supply chain analytics, or logistics reporting who is looking to apply their analytical skills in a complex national distribution network.

About The Role
* Calculating and maintaining freight rate models for internal fleet and third-party carriers
* Analysing transport costs, route performance, and delivery efficiency
* Building and maintaining logistics reports and dashboards
* Producing regular reporting on freight cost, fleet utilisation, and delivery performanceSupporting logistics decision making through data analysis and modelling
* Working closely with operational and fleet teams to understand network requirements and opportunities for improvement
* Assisting with reporting and data extraction from business intelligence systems including Qlik
* Utilising vehicle telematics data (MT Data) to analyse fleet utilisation, route performance, and operational efficiency
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics function
About You
* Experience in transport, logistics, fleet or supply chain operations
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Advanced Microsoft Excel capability (modelling, pivot tables, large dataset analysis)
* Experience building operational reports and performance dashboards

* A practical mindset and willingness to work closely with operational teams
Desirable Experience
* Experience within fuel distribution, bulk liquids, or heavy transport logistics
* Exposure to vehicle telematics platforms such as MT Data
* Experience using Qlik or similar business intelligence reporting tools
* Understanding of freight pricing, fleet utilisation, transport cost modelling and transport operations
* Knowledge of heavy vehicle mass requirements and compliance frameworks administered by the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR)
