Forklift operator (laverton)

Our client is a leader in the field of Chemical Blending, Formulating, and Packaging. They operate a fast-paced production site that involves production fill lines, machine operation, batching and blending of chemicals, packaging and storage solutions.

They currently have a day shift position available for an experienced Forklift Operator to join their growing team. Mon‐Fri on‐going with a view to permanency.

Pay rate: $32/hr+OT Shift Time: 7am‐5pm

Your role and responsibilities will include but not be limited to

• Performing material handling operations using forklift
• Loading and unloading
• Preparing materials for storage or shipment
• Stock picking orders and moving around the warehouse
• Manual handling
• Putting away stock to correct warehouse locations
• Checking for damages and reporting shortages or quality deficiencies
• Replenishments

To be considered for this role, the following are essential

• Robust written and verbal communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work unsupervised and be self‐motivated
• Physically fit for heavy lifting (up to 25kg)
• Current LF Licence

Please note, this role involves working in a dusty/dirty environment which requires you to wear eye protection and long sleeve clothing.
