Job Opportunity
You will be responsible for providing dental services to patients, including emergency treatments, general examinations and preventative treatments, restorations, minor oral surgical procedures, x-rays, extractions, root canal treatments and design/management of prosthodontics.
As a key member of the team, you will liaise with medical officers, nursing officers and specialist dental providers to provide comprehensive dental care. Your role will involve promoting and maintaining the good oral health of personnel in accordance with Defence Policies and Procedures, ensuring patients are dentally fit for deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing high-quality dental services to patients
* Liaising with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
* Working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
This is a permanent part-time opportunity working 2 days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday). There is also the possibility to work across our Oakey Health Centre simultaneously as a full-time role.
Requirements:
* Australian Citizenship for Commonwealth Security Clearance purposes
* Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Dentist, General with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Minimum 2 years full-time postgraduate clinical chair-side experience within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent)
