SBP Australia is an industrial and commercial builder, and our Maintenance team is going places! Led by an experienced Maintenance Manager, our Maintenance Technicians carry out emergency and scheduled maintenance to cold rooms, freezer rooms and process facilities throughout Brisbane, SE and Central QLD and NSW. We are proud to have built long-standing relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers, and are the \"go-to\" general maintenance provider in the cold room industry. We take our work seriously, but rarely ourselves. We have high standards, and we want to invest in training long-term team members who are looking for permanent positions based at our Head Office in Salisbury, Brisbane.
The role
We're Seeking
* Experienced Maintenance Technicians
* Trades: Carpenters, Plumbers/Roofers
* Experienced general labourers - preferably coldroom & freezer experience
Key Responsibilities
* Use hand tools and power tools to safely assemble, install, modify, repair or replace parts of cold rooms, freezers and other facilities.
* Read and interpret work orders, drawings and specifications to understand and perform maintenance work as assigned.
* Maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
* Prior experience in construction, general labouring or maintenance roles.
Will be an advantage
* Trade certificate in any relevant industry (construction, engineering etc).
* Practical knowledge of steel pallet racking installation, repairs and inspection.
* Practical knowledge of cold room maintenance processes and equipment.
* High-risk licenses including Forklift, Scissor Lift, Work at Heights, Elevated Work Platform etc.
