The Location
Sandbrook, a 109 bed residential aged care facility located in Burleigh Waters. It is near the beautiful beaches of the Gold Coast, as well as several shopping centres, schools, public transport, restaurants and a vast range of health and community services.
The Role
As a Personal Care Worker, you’ll provide assistance to our residents, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing, independence, interests and choices.
* To provide high quality, safe, and timely contemporary personal care; assisting with the functions of daily living according to the individual needs of residents.
* Support and care for residents as they age, and assisting them to maintain their independence and live with dignity, self-determination and comfort.
* Assist the resident with self-care needs, safe mobility and transfers, and complete documentation.

To be successful, you will have:
* Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual support
* Experience in care role highly regarded
* Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
* NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
