About the role 
We are looking for an enthusiastic warehouse manager to join our diverse, compassionate and dedicated team to provide effective and efficient warehouse and supply function in a busy health care setting. Our Warehouse Manager plays a key role in liaising with staff, clients and their families and ensuring the delivery of exemplary service. 
The primary objective of this position is to provide leadership and management of the warehouse and supply function for Calvary North Adelaide & Calvary Central Districts hospitals, including the staff and resources involved in purchasing, receiving, warehousing and distribution of medical consumables, pharmaceuticals, general consumables and equipment. 
Primarily Based at North Adelaide Hospital but working across Central Districts Hospital as well. 
Key Responsibilities 
Manage all supply operational activities of the assigned warehouse within Calvary’s National Supply processes and policies. 
Drive streamlining / standardisation of procedures for the assigned warehouses 
Ensure optimal stock levels maintained with regular reviewing of imprest, store stock levels and investigation of slow moving / obsolete items are undertaken to provide peak efficiencies. 
Coordinate cyclical and annual stocktakes on all store locations, investigate significant variances and report findings. 
Ensure items are stored efficiently, in the correct location, and in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety issues and ideal product storage conditions. 
Ensure all internal control, systems and procedures relating to supply are established, documented and regularly reviewed. 
Create efficient work systems and practices for purchasing, receiving, impresting, follow-up of back orders, credits, and picking to ensure timely supply to all user departments. 
What you bring 
Supply Chain and warehouse management experience 
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal 
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders 
Demonstrated ability to work both within a team environment and autonomously
