Based in Emerald, Queensland - CQ Commercial Laundry is the leading provider of linen services to the mining & hospitality sectors in Central Queensland. We are a mature business operating for over 30 years. The current operator has owned the business for the last 15 years. Our business has undergone a major plant upgrade recently to nearly triple the plant capacity.

Core Responsibilities :-
Administrative Oversight: Managing the daily operations of our office, including supervising staff.
Financial Management: Preparing and managing Xero files, including monthly Profit and Loss development. Management of payables and receivables. Monthly BAS. Diesel fuel rebate and payroll tax calculations.
Human Resources Management: Assisting with staff recruitment, coordinating onboarding/induction for new hires, maintaining personnel records. Managing Payroll and HR Functions utilising Tanda HR systems.
Compliance & Safety: Oversee compliance to our ISO management systems to ensure adherence to health and safety (OSHA) and employment regulations.
Essential Skills and Qualifications :-
Technical Skills: Strong leadership skills, capacity to support staff, adaptability for shifting priorities, and excellent communication to act as a central point of contact for departments.
Supervisory Skills: the ability to troubleshoot scenarios that require out of the box thinking to ensure our business goals are achieved.
Education/Experience: A degree in business administration/accounting
or 2-5 years of relevant management experience.
