About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated
Accounting Support Officer
to join our Finance team. In this role, you will perform a comprehensive range of financial services, including but not limited to accounts payable, receivables, and various other accounting functions. You will work closely with the Finance team to support day-to-day operations with a particular focus on accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across financial processes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Manage supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
* Oversee customer invoicing, payments, and outstanding debt follow-up.
* Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of all cash and bank transactions.
* Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, highlighting trends and exceptions.
* Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
* Handle general inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
* Provide timely assistance to finance team members with various tasks.

Key Selection Criteria
* Proven experience in accounts or administrative roles, including accounting, accounts payable, or accounts receivable.
* Sound understanding of GST and integrated accounting systems.
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
* Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of the workplace.
* Ability to work effectively within a team, demonstrating ethical, honest, and transparent business practices.
* High attention to detail, accuracy, and a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
