• The Clinical Nurse/Midwife – Child Protection Liaison Officer is a registered nurse or dual Qualified Midwife who is responsible and accountable for quality and clinically effective nursing care at an advanced level in the field of child protection. The role of the Child Protection Liaison Officer is to provide a single point of contact for Child Protection matters.

About the role
This role works collaboratively with all staff in the Child Protection Unit, multidisciplinary team, and partner agencies to achieve Child focused care and provide services to children and young people who have been harmed or who are at risk of harm.
