Position Summary
Enabled Designs provides allied health services in the home and community to people of all ages and abilities to improve everyday living and maximise independence in the home, workplace, and community. Enabled Designs are leaders in finding solutions for complex challenges through collaborative, high quality and innovative allied health services that support people to achieve meaningful lives.
As a Team Lead – Occupational Therapist with Enabled Designs, you are responsible for providing occupational therapy services to our clients and their families, working with the client's care team to assess, set goals, develop solutions, provide interventions, and evaluate client outcomes. You will provide supervision and coaching to the team, taking a lead in annual appraisals and development plans, in accordance with the career pathways framework.
In this role, you have a responsibility to lead and oversee a high performing, solution focused team to provide evidence informed clinical service delivery to maximise client outcomes, client and referrer satisfaction and meet agreed business KPI's. You will facilitate a positive team culture and employee experience and retention, supporting recruitment activities, stakeholder relationships, and risk management, and drive business performance to effectively contribute towards the achievement of the company's vision and goals.
This role in the Health Professional and Support Service Award 2023 is classified as Health Professionals Employee Level 3.
Key Requirements
* Minimum of 6 years of Allied Health professional experience with demonstrated ability in providing clinical services to complex clients and situations
* Strong relationship and people management skills, with the proven ability to develop trust and credibility
* Has experience in leading and mentoring a high performing and healthy team
* Demonstrated time management and organisation skills and the ability to coordinate an assigned caseload and company commitments
* Demonstrated effective and professional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
* Has the ability to build relationships to be able to manage and inspire confidence with staff
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and provide patient-centred practice
* Staff recruitment, retention and training experience
* Excellent attention to detail and quality management
* Demonstrated ability to being punctual, reliable and committed
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft office suite, OT drawing programs, client management software
* Demonstrated ability to follow direction and take initiative
* Knowledge of the NDIS desirable
