Business Banking supports a range of medium to large sized businesses across Sydney. Our Major Client Group (MCG) team looks after our largest and most complex clients with turnover +$150m and debt requirements of +$50m. Our innovative technology solutions provide valuable support for our clients, helping them lead their businesses into the future. We work with clients across industries including entertainment, leisure, tourism and professional services.
We are seeking a Team Manager for our MCG Team. In this leadership role, you will coach and develop a team of Associates, driving a customer-centric culture across your centre.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with peers, business partners and stakeholders to build strong relationships and ensure your team meets business needs.
- Drive a culture of accountability and excellence across your team.
- Facilitate the continuous development of your team to enhance customer engagement and address customers\' servicing needs.
- Drive a productivity mindset and implement practical process improvements across the business.
- Identify and assess operational risk and share best practice insights to support course correction.
- Model a curious mindset and adoption of technology across your team and business.
- Deliver best practice Sales & Service and outcomes that meet MCG credit and compliance requirements.
- Drive a customer-centric culture by ensuring your team provides responsive, professional and quality service that meets the needs of people and clients, contributing to NPS.
- Ensure frontline staff have the capability to deliver exceptional service within an operationally compliant framework.
- Support clients across diverse industries, tailoring solutions to meet their unique business needs.
Qualifications
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate others to achieve shared goals.
- Strong financial services industry experience, including a background in a sales role.
- Proven success in building a customer-centric culture by proactively engaging clients and driving NPS improvement.
- Extensive knowledge of bank and financial services products, services and strong operational risk knowledge.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and to work collaboratively with business partners and stakeholders.
- Continuous improvement mindset and a creative approach to problem solving.
- Curiosity and passion for technology.
- Strong customer focus and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.
