An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to join the Toxic Torts team in our Sydney office.

The Role
As a Legal Assistant, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Answering phone calls and assisting with client enquiries
* Opening and closing files
* Preparing legal documents
* Client reporting
* Diary management
* Dictaphone typing
* Billing
* Mail merging documents and formatting
* File management
* Data entry
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have the following:
* A minimum of 1 year's experience in a legal assistant role. Experience in a litigation practice will be preferred.
* Excellent communication and diary management skills with a client service focus
* Proficient in MS Word, Excel spreadsheets, proof‐reading and formatting documents
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment dealing with large volumes of work and competing deadlines
* Be organised, show initiative and have excellent attention to detail
Please note that law students will not be considered for this role.
