About the Job
This role requires operating trucks safely and efficiently to transport various products to customer sites, conducting pre-and post-delivery safety inspections, following traffic laws and road safety regulations, securing cargo to avoid damage or shifting, and communicating professionally with team members and customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate heavy trucks to transport products to customer sites
* Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure safe operation
* Follow all relevant traffic laws and road safety regulations
* Secure cargo using suitable methods to prevent damage or shifting during transit
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
* Hold a valid HR or MR license
* Be physically fit and able to lift up to 25 Kilos
* Possess relevant experience driving heavy trucks
* Knowledge of Tasmanian roads and highways
* Clean traffic history
* Pass a drug and alcohol test
