Job Overview
The Classroom Teacher (Range 1 or Range 2) at Greater Shepparton Secondary College is responsible for planning, preparing and delivering teaching programs aimed at achieving specific student outcomes. The role includes mentoring peers, supporting data‐driven instruction, and contributing to curriculum development and school policy implementation.
Responsibilities
* Deliver direct teaching to student groups and individual students.
* Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum area or program within the school.
* Undertake additional classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal.
* Participate in activities such as parent–teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
* Undertake non‐teaching supervisory duties.
Qualifications and Eligibility
* Registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
* Qualified to teach and/or have demonstrated experience in the curriculum area(s) specified for the position.
* For Part‐time applicants, a reduced time fraction may be negotiated on a case‐by‐case basis subject to operational requirements.
