Minimum Qualifications
Education Level: Bachelor's degree preferred.
Associate's degree with 2 years of direct/relevant experience may substitute.
Fields: business, liberal arts and sciences, public administration, urban planning, planning and design, public policy, and finance.
Relevant Experience
Minimum 3-5 years' direct experience in economic development, government, planning, public administration, real estate finance, financial analysis, related business, or not-for-profit area.
Knowledge Required
Proactive, self-motivated, collaborative team player.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with business, not-for-profit, and governmental agencies and general knowledge of New York State's geography and economies.
Strong attention to detail and independent follow-through.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and database management.
