Ventia, in partnership with the Australian Defence Force, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Production Clerk to join our Admin Support team.
Job Description
The successful applicant will support the Defence Maintenance Contract Manager to ensure effective, efficient and best‐practice planning, scheduling, resourcing and progress monitoring. They will also coordinate with the client for regular progress and performance updates.
The role is a permanent full‐time position, Monday to Friday, based at the RAAF Base Edinburgh as part of the Defence Maintenance Contract (DMC).

What You Will Be Doing
* Undertake a mix of office‐based administrative tasks and non‐technical support to tradespersons and local Defence clientele in our modern, state‐of‐the‐art maintenance facilities at RAAF Edinburgh.
* Manage the daily operation of customer‐facing reception areas within RAAF Edinburgh.
* Compile and manage inventory records and prepare requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies, assisting with the ordering and hastening of repair parts for a wide range of ADF fleets.
* Use Commonwealth‐managed systems specified by the Commonwealth for tasks such as cargo visibility to manage, track and expedite repair parts.
* Assist with the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
* Assist with the administration and management of Commonwealth Supply Customer Accounts (SCAs).
* Support tradespersons by performing work order management and data entry tasks within Commonwealth Mandated Information Systems (e.g., MILIS).
* Assist management teams in preparing written work schedules, based on established guidelines and ADF priorities.
About You
* Previous proven administrative experience in a similar role within a workshop environment (highly desirable).
* Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications including Word, Excel and Outlook (essential).
* Proficient planning, organisational and communication skills (essential).
* Current Australian State or territory class C Driver's Licence (required).
* Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records and reports, schedules and information‐management systems.
* A 'can‐do', proactive approach to working within a large team environment.
* Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance, which requires Australian citizenship.
