Kitchen Designer / Production Specialist – Full Time

About the Role
Galley Kitchens is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer / Production Specialist to join our growing team.
In this full-time role, you’ll design custom kitchens both in our showroom and on-site, working closely with clients to bring their ideas to life. You’ll also collaborate with our in-house production and installation teams to ensure designs are accurate, practical, and ready for manufacture.
Experience using cabinetry design software such as Mozaik Software is beneficial, though designers with experience in other CAD programs like SketchUp or similar systems are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
* Meet with clients to understand their kitchen goals, style preferences, and space requirements
* Develop detailed kitchen and cabinetry designs
* Prepare plans and drawings suitable for production and installation
* Select and specify materials, finishes, hardware, and fixtures
* Present design concepts and revisions to clients
* Work closely with our production and installation teams to ensure designs are accurate and build-ready
* Manage multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail
* Keep up to date with kitchen design trends, materials, and industry best practices
About You
Minimum requirements
* At least 3 years’ experience as a Kitchen Designer
* Strong understanding of kitchen layouts, cabinetry design, and production requirements
* Experience using design or CAD software for cabinetry or interior layouts
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills
* Strong organisation and attention to detail
Highly regarded
* Previous experience working as a cabinetmaker or in cabinetry manufacturing
* Experience working closely with production or workshop teams
* Familiarity with design software such as Mozaik Software or similar
