Assistant Accountant/Accounts Receivable

Following strong business growth and an internal promotion, an opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant/Accounts Receivable to join the finance team in a newly created role.
The Role
Working closely with the finance and project delivery teams, you'll take ownership of the accounts receivable function, helping ensure the smooth flow of incoming payments and accurate financial records.
* Raising customer invoices and updating AR trackers
* Performing daily and weekly bank reconciliations
* Managing the debtor's ledger and closely monitoring overdue accounts
* Liaising with Contract Administrators to escalate overdue debts promptly
* Allocating incoming payments to correct accounts
* Assisting the finance team with preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
Your Skills
* Tenure in an Accounts Receivable role where you raised invoices and reconciled accounts
* Strong reconciliation skills (bank and customer accounts) and intermediate MS Excel skills
* You will be proactive, detail-oriented, and confident managing internal and external stakeholder relationships
* Experience in construction or project-based businesses such as engineering/infrastructure (desirable)
