Surveyors experienced in field setout, machine control, data collection and reporting to work on remote road construction, civil & bulk earthworks.
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Project Surveyor to join our team and work on long‐term remote projects across the Northern Territory. This role will report directly to the Project Manager and requires working in remote locations that are often hot, dry and dusty.
Responsibilities
* Interpret plans and mark out projects
* Convert designs for use on survey rover and machine control
* Work with machine control to optimise precision and time frames within which works are completed
* Perform periodic surveys to check levels for conformance reporting and project tracking
* Undertake as‐built surveys for project sign off and quantity verification
* Provide timely and accurate surveys for end‐of‐month reporting
* Produce clear and concise technical reports
* Collect, interpret and analyse survey information as required
* Project administration (as required)
Qualifications
* A relevant Surveying qualification – Cert IV or higher (required)
* Experience working in a similar position within the Civil or Mining industry (desirable)
* Proficiency using a range of relevant programs and software such as AutoCad 3D Civil and Surpac (desirable)
* Experience with GPS, Trimble Total Station and Trimble machine guidance (desirable)
* The ability to work in remote locations in a FIFO/DIDO capacity
* Current driver's licence
