About the Role
You will be based at our new site in Penrith. You should have experience in Horticulture, Construction, Landscaping or Fencing and be willing to be on the tools alongside our young people, while delivering high quality projects for our customers and meeting contractual obligations.
Responsibilities
* Leading and mentoring young trainees on simple construction projects including fencing, horticulture and landscaping.
* Collaborating with youth workers to provide enhanced support and guidance.
* Ensuring adherence to contract specifications and schedules.
* Promoting a positive Workplace Health and Safety culture.
Qualifications & Experience
* Passion, commitment and belief in young people.
* Relevant qualification in Horticulture, Parks & Gardens, Construction, Landscaping, Fencing or similar.
* Demonstrated knowledge of WHS requirements.
* Excellent communication skills to build relationships with trainees and customers.
* Current white card and first aid certificate or ability to obtain.
