Contractor BDR | Minerva Partners | 6-Month Contract | Melbourne
We're looking for a contractor Business Development Rep to join Minerva Partners for a 6-month engagement based in Melbourne.
Minerva is an EPM and Data consulting firm working with mid‐market Australian businesses in the Office of the CFO space. We partner with vendors including Jedox, Snowflake, and Trintech and run a regular program of partner events across the country.
This role is focused on one thing: getting the right people in the room.
Responsibilities
You'll be working our target account list, reaching out to CFOs, Finance Directors, and their teams to drive registrations and attendance at our partner events. It's outbound‐heavy, relationship‐first work and the quality of your conversations will matter more than volume.
In the role you'll be doing outbound prospecting into mid‐market Australian organisations targeting finance and technology stakeholders, driving event registrations across our partner event calendar, qualifying interest and passing warm conversations to the senior BD team, and keeping CRM updated with pipeline activity.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone with previous BDR, SDR, or outbound sales experience, ideally in B2B tech, consulting, or professional services. You'll need to be comfortable with cold outreach across phone, email, and LinkedIn, and able to write a message that actually gets a reply. Role is Melbourne‐based with hybrid office WFH arrangement.
6‐month contract with the option to extend for the right person.
