Inventory Management Lead
This role focuses on leading a team of planners to support client service and sales teams with demand planning and forecasting. Ensuring stock levels align with forecasts and consumption is key to this position.
A strong managerial approach that motivates and empowers the team is essential. Experience in managing inventory/planning teams, warehouse relationships, and improving warehouse management and inventory systems are highly valued.
1. Supporting demand planning and forecasting by gathering forecasts from client service teams.
2. Ensuring stock levels match forecasts, monitoring transit stock, managing stocktakes, and resolving discrepancies, including negotiating credits for lost or damaged stock.
3. Implementing cost-saving and efficiency activities, managing consumption data, flagging forecast misalignments, managing expiring stock, and coordinating credits with warehouses.
You will also source, set up, and manage warehouse relationships, ensuring KPIs are met. You will be the escalation point for stock discrepancy issues and support your team in negotiations and resolution.

Requirements
Mid-senior level professional with extensive experience managing inventory/planning teams and warehouse relationships. Strong managerial approach, experience in improving warehouse management and inventory systems, and ability to motivate and empower the team.
