We are seeking a highly skilled Project Scheduler and Cost Manager to join our team in Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in project planning, cost control and risk management.
The Role
This key role will involve delivering high-quality project schedules, progress reports and forecasts to stakeholders. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Your typical day will consist of:
* Scheduling and Planning: Developing detailed level schedules with resourcing, schedule risk analysis and reporting.
* Cost Management: Developing and maintaining project budgets and cost control systems, reporting and graphical/statistical analysis works in relation to schedules and cost.
* Milestone Development: Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with key project personnel, internally and externally.
We're looking for someone with:
* A degree in Engineering, Mining, Construction or a related field or trade.
* In-depth working knowledge of Primavera P6.
* 5+ years of experience in cost control and/or planning in an EPC environment.
* Experience working across a diverse portfolio of brownfield and greenfield projects.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
