The role

* As a Regional Alliance Director, you will drive the delivery of services to the client sites across the JPAC region ensuring compliance with scope, SLAs, local legislative requirements and client budgets.
* In addition to the client sites within Australia (Sydney and Melbourne), the position also covers multiple countries within the JPAC region including China, Singapore, Japan and Korea.
* The position will oversee a team of 14 across the region with 5 direct reports.
* The position sits within a larger global team and will report directly to the Global Alliance Director.


A typical day may involve

* Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
* Set processes and strategies for delivery of services and monitor adherence with the assistance of the facilities management team.
* Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
* Implement business strategies to achieve profitable relationships and identify new revenue opportunities.
* Develop and ensure adherence to client property operations budgets ensuring targets are met in line with KPIs.
* Build and maintain effective long-term client relationships and a high level of satisfaction. Formulate and negotiate contracts utilizing internal expert resources.
* Prepare and submit short and long‑range plans and strategies to clients using available marketing programs to reach nominated targets.
* Direct new business efforts with current accounts. Source new business opportunities and engage the field accordingly.
* Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the client’s management to understand needs.
* Evaluate industry and business trends and review and identify performance across the strategic account. Review data for potential impact on new business and operations and respond with business changes. Achieve revenue targets by increasing spend per account.
* Apply a robust knowledge of multiple disciplines, the business, and key drivers which impact departmental and cross‑functional performance.
* Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Persuade managers and other colleagues to take action while being guided by the organization’s functional business plans. Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal.
* Identify and solve multi‑dimensional, complex, operational, and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
* Significantly improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the job discipline.


About you

* Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
* (ESSENTIAL) Strong financial management skills with the ability to manage large and complex budgets within tight KPIs.
* (ESSENTIAL) Strong client engagement skills and customer service mindset to ensure consistently high levels of workplace experience are delivered at all client sites.
* Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
* Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
* Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple departments results within a function.
* In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
* Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
